Deras Association – Circle of Support for the Azores Caregiver, was born as a result of the personal experience of about fifty of its founders, with the support of a company that accepted the proposed social mission and the strategic partnership with the National Association of Informal Caregivers, still than fully autonomous in terms of intervention. Founded in 2021, it is a non-profit association, based in Ribeira Grande and VAT number 516686763.

This Association was created by the pressing need to support informal caregivers in the arduous task, performed daily, on behalf of dependent people at home. It is a job that deserves respect and requires incalculable physical and mental effort from these people.

We help in this mission, with the desire that all these caregivers have the support they need and deserve.
